Aviator Watches
Passionate about Aviation? Then this line of wrist instruments is especially for you. The Aviator line has a long history of military aviation use. Aviation wristwatches were made at the First Watch Factory (then the FMWF and now Poljot) by request of the Soviet Union Central Air Force Administration since 1932. During World War II all Soviet military aircraft were equipped with onboard instrument clocks produced at the First Moscow Watch Factory (then the FMWF and now Poljot). The Soviet Air Force pilots and navigators also wore the FMWF's wristwatches into battle. The timepieces in the Aviator line are made in the stylized military design. Large figures, hands and signs are coated with the special luminescent coating, allowing pilots to operate in the dark. Many watches are complicated, equipped with a chronograph movement, military time zone scale and a tachymeter to measure the speed of travel. Outstanding design options, wide variety of sizes, styles and different types of calibers used in the production of the watch line provide an opportunity to make a choice for the most fastidious customer.
