Your Statutory rights are not affected by any of the following store policies. Please read the store policies carefully, and print and keep a copy of them for your reference.

Payments and Security

We employ a method of interaction with our customers that does not compromise credit card information. Security is a number one priority with Soviet Watches, all our account and order entry pages are encrypted by GeoTrust the world’s second largest Certificate Authority. GeoTrust uses 128-bit encryption which assures you that confidential information and transactions cannot be viewed, intercepted or altered. The GeoTrust authentication system is the most advanced in the industry.

All our credit and debit card payments are processed by Sagepay (formally Protx) who are one of the largest secure payment service providers in the United Kingdom. All transaction information passed between Soviet Watches and Sagepay is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. Once on there systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognized 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data Sagepay hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. If you wish, you may also send a UK postal order or a personal cheque in UK Pounds to pay for your order. Please allow an additional 5 - 7 business days for shipping of your merchandise if payment is by a personal check. To order by cheque, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to Soviet Watches, PO Box 181, Kendal, Cumbria LA9 9AD UK.

Cancellation and Returns

This returns policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. Every product is inspected and tested before been despatched.

You can cancel your order before delivery, and up to fourteen (14) days after delivery. To be refunded for returns please ensure you strictly follow the returns procedures listed below :

• Please email or write to us before returning any products.
• All watches and accessories must be returned to us in absolutely brand new and unworn condition.
• Until you are certain that you wish to keep the watch, do not wear it. A new watch which has been worn even once will show signs of wear to both the strap and case, and will not be accepted back for return.
• The watch tag must remain intact and attached to the watch. If it is removed the return cannot be accepted.
• Do not have the bracelet resized or any links removed.
• All watches and accessories must be returned with their original packaging in a brand new and undamaged condition. This policy applies to boxes, papers and instruction/warranty manuals. If any of these are missing or damaged, the return cannot be accepted.
• You do not have to give any reason for returning products. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to our customers in the future.
• All returns must be returned back to us by Royal Mail and must be insured for their full value. You must purchase this insurance to protect against loss, theft or damage to either the watch or packaging during the return. Any loss, theft or damage incurred on a return are your sole responsibility and damaged watches or accessories will be returned to you. Should you choose to make a return for any reason; all shipping and insurance charges are paid by yourself.

Warranty and Faulty Goods

All watches sold by Soviet Watches are guaranteed to be in new condition unless otherwise stated as repaired or a pre-owned model. Twelve (12) months manufacturer's warranty is provided with all watches sold by Soviet Watches.

The warranty covers the watch movement for the time period stated but excludes: watch case, metal bracelet, leather strap, crown/stem, glass, finishes, damage caused by excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer's water resistance limitations and damage due to personal misuse or negligence.

This warranty is valid only at Soviet Watches. Watch repairs can sometimes take up to six (6) weeks to complete following receipt of the watch.
PLEASE NOTE: Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than Soviet Watches or the manufacturer will void this warranty.

Before sending your watch for repair, please contact us and provide the reason for your return. You will be asked to provide the following information. Your name, original invoice number, detailed description of the problem, your return address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Any items returned to us must be sent using Royal Mail and be fully insured to their full value. Any damage, theft or loss is the sole responsibility of the customer. If any items are damaged they will be not accepted for return.

Delivery Information

Delivery is free to all addresses in the United Kingdom. Goods purchased by customers outside the United Kingdom will be charged for delivery. We use Royal Mail and Royal Mail International Airmail services to ship all our products.

Prices

Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding.

Complaints

If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by telephone, e-mail or letter, then it will be dealt with promptly and you will receive a reply within 5 working days. It will then be dealt with confidentially, and effectively.
